Wellness Coaching

What Is It?
If you’re seeking transformation, a wellness coach can help guide you on your journey of self-discovery, helping you unlock your fullest potential.

Wellness coaching bridges the gap between traditional healthcare and positive behavioral lifestyle changes. It uses evidence-based practices and strategies to guide you on a journey of self-discovery to unlock your fullest potential. A wellness coach shares information, but more importantly, asks empowering questions and facilitates thought-provoking exercises as you identify and shape your intentions, goals, and desires.

A wellness coach does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and does not conduct psychological counseling. While a clinical therapist helps the client understand how the past influences the present, the wellness coach focuses on the present and helps the client move forward with intention and purpose. That doesn’t mean we dismiss the past. We acknowledge that and move forward. Wellness coaching and clinical psychotherapy are often complimentary.

A wellness coach is your guide and holds safe space to support you as you unfold subconscious obstacles that might be holding you back, as well as is your champion as you identify goals in any or all areas of wellness including sleep, daily habits and routines, physical/emotional/spiritual health, grounding and meditation, personal environment, relationships, nutrition, breath, and movement,

A wellness coach acts as your mentor, sharing information rooted in science, but also holds you accountable for the very goals that you set for yourself. They are there to remind you that you are the expert of your own life. But empowers you to deeply self-reflect.

Why Chopra Coaching?
Chopra coaching draws from the best practices in life and health coaching methodology, neuroscience, and positive psychology, while integrating the work of Deepak Chopra. Chopra coaching includes the practices of yoga, Ayurveda, and meditation—5,000-year-old wisdom traditions rooted in science. Through these practices, we approach healing on multiple layers: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

How Can a Wellness Coach Help Me?
If you are committed to making a meaningful and positive change in at least one wellness area of your life, a wellness coach can help you get there. It’s effective because you are in the driver’s seat and the wellness coach points out signposts along the way.

You are the expert of your own life. You decide which areas you want to improve. The answers already lie within you. Sometimes we just need a little guidance to help us see the things we might be missing. Through empowering questions and exercises, the wellness coach helps you uncover hidden shadow and meaning behind stories and perceived obstacles that might be holding you back.

How Do I Know If I’m Ready?
  • If you’re ready to take responsibility to make and sustain change in at least one area of wellness.
  • If you’re ready to invest the time to make sustainable change.
  • If you’re ready to share relevant personal information in a safe and supportive environment.
  • If you’re ready to become more self-aware and are ready for self-introspection.
  • If you’re open to trying to new things.
  • If you’re punctual and responsive.
